Bamdura EcoArmor™
Heavy-duty hybrid bamboo composite support beams and cribbing blocks for heavy civil infrastructure. High-tonnage load capacity meets carbon-negative engineering.
Hybrid bamboo composite support beams & cribbing blocks
Engineered to replace short-lived hardwood timbers and heavy steel pads, Bamdura EcoArmor™ provides high-tonnage structural support for heavy civil infrastructure and demanding jobsite environments.
Strand bamboo armor • Glulam shock-absorbing core • UV-resistant industrial shield • Rapidly renewable bio-based structure
Advanced multi-layer architecture
The composite profile consists of two functional layers:
- Outer wear armor: high-density, thermally compressed strand woven bamboo delivering rock-solid compressive strength and scratch resistance against steel tracks and heavy outriggers.
- Elastic structural core: an engineered bamboo glued laminated core that absorbs dynamic shock, minimizes internal stress and reduces overall dead weight.
Manufactured in dimensions up to 8000 × 200 × 200 mm, each beam is sealed with a UV-resistant, weatherproof industrial coating and features an embossed anti-slip traction pattern. EcoArmor™ delivers an unyielding foundation for bridge jacking, temporary cribbing and ground protection while actively reducing your project’s carbon footprint.
Key engineering advantages of EcoArmor™
Designed for high point loads, heavy tracked vehicles and extreme weather conditions.
Armor-grade surface hardness
The strand woven bamboo outer layer resists indentation, crushing and splintering from crawler crane tracks and excavator grouser shoes.
Shock absorption & lower weight
The laminated bamboo core cushions heavy impacts and vibrations. Lighter than full solid strand composites: faster, more economical transport and crane handling.
UV-resistant & weatherproof seal
Multi-component system of modified epoxy, polyaspartic polyurea and ultra-wear polyurethane. Waterproof and resistant in marine, desert and swamp environments.
Certified heavy-traction grip (BPN > 0.75)
Tested under a 15-ton metal-track vehicle with zero slip. Silicon carbide grit, vacuum-calcined at 1200 °C (Shore > D80), that does not pull out under heavy loads.
Flexible & delamination-resistant
Coating hardness > Shore D70. After a 10-ton load for 1 hour and 500% flexural recovery: zero cracking and zero delamination.
All-weather climate durability
QUV > 5000 hours (ΔE ≤ 1.5). Stable from -40 °C to +60 °C. Zero degradation after 90 days of salt-water immersion.
Innovative composite coating system
The beam profile is coated with an innovative multi-component protective system formulated with modified epoxy, polyaspartic pure polyurea and ultra-wear polyurethane. Embedded with ceramic-vitrified silicon carbide abrasive grit, it delivers uncompromised traction, all-weather waterproofing and exceptional resistance to steel-track crushing in marine, desert and swamp environments.
Tested under extreme conditions
Proven coating performance:
- Anti-slip BPN > 0.75, tested with a 15-ton tracked vehicle
- Through-body colored corundum grit (Shore > D80): no grain fracture or pull-out
- Surface hardness > Shore D70
- UV-resistant: QUV > 5000 hours (ΔE ≤ 1.5)
- -40 °C to +60 °C without color change, softening or chalking
- Zero VOCs and no odor: safe on the jobsite and ESG-compliant
The result: a surface that is waterproof, anti-corrosion, wear-resistant, anti-slip and weatherproof, all at once.

Heavy-duty film faced bamboo panel
High-traction surface overlay with an engineered bamboo laminated core.
Our heavy-duty film faced bamboo plywood is an engineered multi-ply composite panel designed for rigorous industrial, trailer flooring and heavy ground-support applications. Combining the natural tensile strength and elasticity of structural bamboo with a durable, textured phenolic surface overlay, it delivers high dimensional stability, weatherproofing and slip resistance in challenging jobsite conditions.
Structural layer breakdown
Cross-section architecture:
- Top layer: textured phenolic film overlay (wiremesh / honeycomb), hot-pressed onto the bamboo. Maximum grip in wet, oily or muddy conditions and a barrier against water, abrasion and mild chemicals.
- Core: cross-laminated, kiln-dried structural bamboo strips bonded with exterior-grade WBP / phenolic adhesives. Prevents warping, cupping and edge splitting, with superior MOR/MOE compared to timber plywood.
- Bottom layer: smooth or textured balancing phenolic film for structural symmetry and equal moisture balance.
- Edge sealing: bevelled edges treated with an elastic, waterproof PU / acrylic sealant against end-grain moisture absorption.
Available in thicknesses from 15 to 40 mm and in standard sizes 1220 × 2440 mm and 1250 × 2500 mm, or custom CNC cut.
Why choose the film faced bamboo panel?
Strong, slip-resistant and waterproof, built for intensive, repeated outdoor use.
High strength-to-weight ratio
The cross-laminated core delivers higher load-bearing capacity and rigidity than timber plywood of equal thickness, at a manageable weight.
Certified anti-slip safety
The embossed wiremesh / hexagonal pattern grips tires, work boots and outriggers, significantly reducing slip and skid accidents.
Waterproof & rot-proof
Sealed phenolic surface and exterior structural bonding prevent water penetration, swelling, delamination and decay, for reliable multi-cycle outdoor reuse.
High wear & abrasion resistance
The dense film face protects the bamboo from gouging and wear caused by cargo handling, rolling wheels and foot traffic.
Rapidly renewable
Sustainably harvested bamboo with a 3–5 year harvest cycle. A natural carbon sink that helps meet green building and ESG benchmarks.
Fully sealed edges
All four sides are treated with a water-repellent industrial sealant against end-grain moisture absorption.
Film faced bamboo panel applications
For floors, platforms and ground surfaces that carry heavy loads every day.
Outrigger & ground pads
Base support panels for cranes, boom trucks and aerial work platforms.
Vehicle & trailer flooring
Heavy-duty beds for cargo trailers, semi-trailers, box trucks and delivery vans.
Scaffolding & temporary walkways
High-friction decking for scaffolding, stages and temporary pedestrian bridges.
Warehouse staging & dunnage
Non-slip, moisture-isolated staging pads for heavy tooling, structural steel and machine components.
