Bamboo decking is not made of hollow poles or decorative bamboo stalks, like the ones often seen in garden fencing. It is made from laminated MOSO bamboo strips a high-quality, solid bamboo material specially cultivated for applications like decks and patios.

Challenge due to the upcoming EUDR? Choose laminated Bamboo!

The EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) was adopted by the European Union on May 16, 2023. This law aims to combat climate change by addressing deforestation and forest degradation, focusing on the trade of timber and certain other products. The regulation will come into effect on December 30, 2024, replacing the EUTR.

The EU Deforestation Regulation (Regulation on deforestation-free products), also known as “Regulation (EU) 2023/1115,” focuses primarily on timber and its derivatives. The main objectives of the EUDR include:

* Stimulating the demand for legal trade in “deforestation-free” raw materials and products within the EU.
* Minimizing the risk of products and raw materials associated with deforestation or forest degradation being placed on or exported from the EU market.
